Grade And Properites   

The following are the typical performance parameters of the CYKC GROUP YGR series carbide roller rings. By adjusting the cobalt (Co) content and the grain size of tungsten carbide (WC), we can provide the optimal balance between wear resistance and toughness for different rolling conditions.

Co-Ni-Cr is used as the bonding phase, with high wear resistance, corrosion resistance and versatility.

How to Choose the Right Grade？

Our YGR series uses Co-Ni-Cr as the binder phase, which provides excellent corrosion resistance and thermal fatigue resistance. The key trade-off is:

• Lower Co content (YGR20–YGR30) → Higher hardness, better wear resistance → Best for last finishing stands where load is low and surface quality is critical.
• Higher Co content (YGR45–YGR60) → Higher toughness, better impact resistance → Best for front and pre-finishing stands where heavy load and thermal cycling dominate.
