WCGW-Integrated composite PCBN cutting tool

The WCGW series of monolithic composite PCBN inserts, featuring a hexagonal shape, are directly bonded under high-temperature and ultra-high-pressure conditions. They offer advantages such as an extra-thick composite layer (1–2 mm) and high density. One side of the insert is made of PCBN material and features a center hole for positioning. These inserts are widely used for semi-finishing and finishing of gray cast iron, wear-resistant cast iron, heat-resistant alloys, and hardened steel.

These solid-bonded PCBN cutting tools are capable of withstanding harsh machining conditions. They allow for greater cutting depths, offer improved impact resistance, feature more cutting edges, exhibit greater heat resistance, and are free from weld separation, delivering excellent cutting performance. The high bond strength between the composite layer and the substrate makes them suitable for cutting depths of 0–5 mm, as well as continuous and light-intermittent cutting operations.
